Washington State University offers six other varsity sports programs for women, although they do not include fastpitch softball.
Softball is currently only a club program at the school in Pullman.
But the Cougars do boast varsity women's teams in cross country, golf, rowing, swimming, tennis and track and field.
WSU lists three other Division I men's programs in cross country, golf and track and field, although competitive rowing is also offered.
And where do you find enough water to row in the Palouse Country?
The answer for men and women is on the nearby Snake River.
Swimming is no longer among the offerings across the state at the University of Washington, but the Cougars have a program for women.
